Required validation

Verifies that a non-null value has been entered for this field. A field left blank fails validation.

The required validation can be used with the following field types:

• Checkbox field
• Date select field
• Email field
• Password field
• Radio buttons field
• Select menu field
• Text input field
• Text area field
