Microsoft Active Director Federation Services social login guide

Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) is an authentication and authorization service that runs on Windows Server. AD FS provides users with single sign-on access between enterprise environments and web applications.

AD FS is a "configurable" identity provider, which means that additional configuration is required in order to use Active Directory Federation Services for social logins. If you are interested in employing AD FS as a social login IDP, please contact your Akamai representative.

📘

Alternatively, you might consider creating a custom provider to enable social login by using Active Directory federation Services; this is possible because AD FS supports the SAML protocol. See Introduction to custom providers for more information.
