Manual Server Push

With HTTP/2 enabled, this behavior loads a specified set of objects into the client browser’s cache.

How it works

Manual Server Push lets the server send multiple parallel responses for a single client request. An average web page requires multiple resources, such as JavaScript, CSS, and images. References to these items are in the HTML pages the server produces. Manual Server Push allows the server to send the most important items immediately.

Implementation

Match on a Path or Filename, and specify the set of objects to load into the client browser’s cache over HTTP2 in the Add Object URLs field.

Features and options

FieldWhat it does
Add Object URLsSpecifies the set of objects to load into the client browser’s cache over HTTP2. Each value you specify represents a hostname and full path to the object. For example, www.example.com/js/site.js.
