Add this behavior to your Adaptive Media Delivery (AMD) property to enhance the viewing experience by pinpointing video quality based on the capabilities of your end user's individual device.

How it works

Once you set up this behavior, individual manifests are generated "on-the-fly", based on the requesting device, and content is delivered accordingly.

Currently, Manifest Personalization is supported for use with these formats:

Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS). Both live and on-demand. To set it up, follow the steps in Add Manifest Personalization for HLS.
Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH). Akamai offers partial support for on-demand and you don't actually use this behavior to set it up. See Add Manifest Personalization for DASH for complete instructions.
