Request Type Marker

With the Internet of Things: OTA Updates product, you can securely distribute firmware to devices over cellular networks. When using the Download Complete Marker behavior to log successful downloads, this related behavior identifies download or campaign server types in the aggregated and individual reports.

How it works

You can configure the Request Type Marker behavior in a custom rule to define match criteria for the selected marker. For example, you can mark incoming requests based on the presence or absence of a specific HTTP request header, query string parameter, or HTTP response status.

Based on the defined marker, requests are logged in individual car reports or in the aggregated and individual car reports.
