Create a stream

Create a stream to collect logs and deliver them to a configured destination.

Before you begin, ensure that:

• You meet the Akamai Cloud Pulse requirements for managing streams and destinations.
• You've already created a destination, or have the required details to create a destination as part of the stream creation workflow

To create a stream in Cloud Manager:

1. Log in to Cloud Manager, expand Monitor in the main menu, and select Logs.

2. On the Logs page, select the Streams tab.

3. Click Create Stream.

4. Enter a name for your stream.

5. Select the stream type. (Audit logs is currently the only available option)

6. Enter the destination details, including the destination type and name.

   You can enter the name of an existing destination, or type a new name to create new destination. If you enter an existing destination, its delivery details are automatically populated. If you enter a new destination, you are prompted to provide the required details. See destination attributes for more information about these fields.

7. (Optional) Test the connection.

8. Click Create Stream.
