On November 14, 2024, Akamai reintroduces the managed database service in partnership with Aiven to bring you higher performance, reliability, and flexibility. Nov 13, 2024 — App Platform beta launches on LKE
The Akamai App Platform has been released as a beta and is now available through LKE, our managed Kubernetes solution. The App Platform can be deployed on new LKE clusters and offers a self-service portal for building, managing, and deploying applications on Kubernetes. To gain access to the beta, log in to the Cloud Manager, navigate to the Betas page, and click the Sign Up button next to the Akamai App Platform Beta.
Nov 5, 2024 — Linodes, Linodes in distributed regions, and LKEs support encryption (Limited availability)
Local disk encryption is available for Linodes, Linodes in distributed regions, and LKEs. The platform automatically manages the encryption and decryption for you. To learn more, see Disk Encryption.

You can now manually delete a VLAN that is not attached to any Linodes using the API.
