Troubleshoot IdP configuration errors from the IdP page

After you deploy the identity provider error messages may appear on the IdP deployment status page. If so, you need to complete configuration. Common configuration issues may include:

  • IdP hostname not configured
  • Certificate not selected or not ready
  • Directories not added or unreachable
  • Unassigned directories
  • MFA set incorrectly
  • Cloud zone configured incorrectly
  • Identity server not specified
  1. Log in to Enterprise Center.

  2. In the Enterprise Center navigation menu, select Application Access > Identity & Users > Identity Providers.

  3. Select your identity provider to open it.

    You can identify an IdP with configuration issues by its deployment status. Select an IdP with the Deployment not ready status.

  4. Hover over the Deployment icon.
    The IdP deployment status dialog appears. View the lists of tasks required to complete this IdP configuration.

Troubleshoot IdP configuration errors from the application page

Prerequisite:
the identity provider (IdP) is configured and deployed

When you deploy the application before you complete the identity provider (IdP) configuration, error messages may appear on the application deployment status page. If so, you need to complete configuration, and redeploy your application.

  1. Log in to Enterprise Center.

  2. In the Enterprise Center navigation menu, select Application Access > Applications > Applications.

  3. Select your application to open it.

    You can identify an application with configuration issues by its deployment status. Select an application with the Deployment not ready status.

  4. Hover over the Deployment icon.
    The Application deployment status dialog appears. View the lists of tasks required to complete this application configuration.
