Store files in RDP portal

If you enable file sharing in Enterprise Application Access (EAA), users can upload and download files from their local computer to the remote desktop. The default limit of the file transfer is 1 GB.

This procedure is performed by the user on their remote desktop. As an administrator, you can also access the application and perform these steps.

Upload files to the RDP portal

In the dialog to upload files, end users can manage files. Any file that is located in the LOCALSHARE drive is listed in the dialog.

  1. Click the pulsing computer icon.

  2. Click Files.
    A dialog to upload files appears to the remote share drive appears.

  3. Click Choose Files.

  4. Select the file. Depending on the file size, the upload may take some time.
    Users can see the progress in the dialog.

Download files from the RDP Portal

  1. Copy the files that need to be downloaded to the LOCALSHARE drive. In the remote desktop, users see an attached drive with the name LOCALSHARE.

  2. Click the pulsing computer icon.

  3. Click Files.
    A dialog appears that lists files located in the LOCALSHARE.

  4. Locate the file that you want to download and click the download icon. The file is downloaded to your computer.
