EAA Client application for mobile devices
Mobile device users may download the EAA Client mobile app for iOS or Android from respective app stores. Your mobile device must be running iOS 11 or later, or Android 6 or later. The EAA Client mobile app includes Device Posture capabilities that ensure devices accessing enterprise applications comply with organization's security policies.
While you use the EAA Client for mobile app, device posture access controls only applies to web based applications.
Prerequisite:
Your mobile device must be running a supported OS version to install the application.
- Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your device and search for Akamai EAA Client .
- Download the app and make sure the installation is successful.
- Tap on the EAA Client Mobile App icon to launch the application.
The Welcome page appears. - Click Continue to start the configuration.
When the configuration completes, the Pairing page appears. - Click Get Started!.
This finishes the configuration by pairing your device with your organization. Next you are prompted to verify your identity on the Activation page. - Click Scan on the Activation page to scan the QR code.
The QR code can then be shared with your organization's EAA Client mobile app users to complete the activation process.
Note
Contact your Enterprise Solution Engineer or support to obtain the QR Code image corresponding to your identity provider configuration. This code does not contain any private information.

After the code is verified, click Continue.
This authenticates the code against the EAA identity provider (IdP). -
When prompted, enter your credentials and log in on the browser provided by the Control Center Client application.

After successful authorization the homepage appears, providing you with the status for:
- Biometric ID status
- EAA Client version
- Mobile EAA Client
- OS version
- Screen lock status
From the home page, you can also click Diagnostics to check the system.
The EAA Client application with Device Posture is running. You can now access application from your browser.
