Admin password policy

Synopsis

View password policy.

Syntax

Get-IAMAdminPasswordPolicy [[-EdgeRCFile] <String>] [[-Section] <String>] [[-AccountSwitchKey] <String>]
 [-ProgressAction <ActionPreference>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Retrieves the password policy for an account. You should use the values from this operation to set your user's password policy.

If you're not an admin, you should run the Get-IAMUserPasswordPolicy operation before setting your password policy.

Parameters

-AccountSwitchKey

Account switch key, for use when you have access to multiple accounts and need to specify which one to use. Run Get-AccountSwitchKey to list the account switch keys available to you.
