User timeout policy

Get-IAMUserTimeoutPolicy

Synopsis

View timeout policies for a user profile.

Syntax

Get-IAMUserTimeoutPolicy [[-EdgeRCFile] <String>] [[-Section] <String>] [[-AccountSwitchKey] <String>] [-ProgressAction <ActionPreference>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Gets the supported session timeout policies. The name for each timeout period is in minutes, and the time value is in seconds. You should use the values from this operation to set your session timeout policy.

If you're an admin, you should run the Get-IAMAdminTimeoutPolicy operation before setting your user's session timeout policy.

Parameters

-AccountSwitchKey

Account switch key, for use when you have access to multiple accounts and need to specify which one to use. Run Get-AccountSwitchKey to list the account switch keys available to you.

-EdgeRCFile

EdgeRC file to authenticate your command. Defaults to ~/.edgerc.

EdgeRC section to retrieve authentication credentials from. Defaults to default.
