Synopsis

Deactivate a stream.

Syntax

New-DataStreamDeactivation [-StreamType <String>] [-StreamID] <Int32> [[-EdgeRCFile] <String>] [[-Section] <String>] [[-AccountSwitchKey] <String>] [-ProgressAction <ActionPreference>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Deactivates the latest version of a stream.

Deactivating a stream means that you stop receiving logs for properties this stream monitors, and changes status to DEACTIVATED in approximately an hour.

If you want to start receiving log files again, you can activate the stream at any time using the New-DataStreamActivation operation.

Parameters

`‑AccountSwitchKey`	StringPipeline input: False An account credential key that lets you move between accounts when using an API client enabled for multiple accounts. To find account switch keys, use Get-AccountSwitchKey.
`‑EdgeRCFile`	StringPipeline input: False Your EdgeGrid resource file to authenticate your command. Defaults to `~/.edgerc`.
`‑Section`	StringPipeline input: False The section name in your EdgeGrid resource file to retrieve authentication credentials from. Defaults to `default`.
`‑StreamID` Required	Int32Pipeline input: ByPropertyName, ByValue Your stream's ID.
