Synopsis

Deactivate a stream.

Syntax

New-DataStreamDeactivation [-StreamID] <Int32> [[-EdgeRCFile] <String>] [[-Section] <String>]
 [[-AccountSwitchKey] <String>] [-ProgressAction <ActionPreference>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Deactivates the latest version of a stream. Deactivating a stream means that, in approximately an hour, you stop receiving logs for the properties that this stream monitors and the stream's status changes to DEACTIVATED.

To start receiving log files again, you can activate the stream at any time using the New-DataStreamActivation operation.

Account switch key, for use when you have access to multiple accounts and need to specify which one to use. Run the Get-AccountSwitchKey command to list the account switch keys available to you.
