Synopsis

Reset a user's multi-factor authentication.

Syntax

Reset-IAMUserMFA [[-UIIdentityID] <String>] [[-EdgeRCFile] <String>] [[-Section] <String>] [[-AccountSwitchKey] <String>] [-ProgressAction <ActionPreference>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Resets your user's multi-factor authentication method the next time they log in to Control Center. You can reset it either for your own user or an individual user specified by their -UIIdentityID. TFA indicates two-factor authentication. MFA indicates Akamai MFA authentication.

Parameters

‑AccountSwitchKey

An account credential key that lets you move between accounts when using an API client enabled for multiple accounts. To find account switch keys, use Get-AccountSwitchKey.

‑EdgeRCFile

Your EdgeGrid resource file to authenticate your command. Defaults to ~/.edgerc.

‑Section

The section name in your EdgeGrid resource file to retrieve authentication credentials from. Defaults to default.

‑UIIdentityID

A given user's ID. To get this value, run Get-IAMUser.
