User states

Synopsis

View states for a user profile.

Syntax

Get-IAMUserStates [-Country] <String> [[-EdgeRCFile] <String>] [[-Section] <String>]
 [[-AccountSwitchKey] <String>] [-ProgressAction <ActionPreference>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Gets the supported U.S. states or Canadian provinces. You should use the values from this operation to add or update your state or province.

If you're an admin, you should run the Get-IAMAdminStates operation before modifying your user's state or province.

Parameters

-AccountSwitchKey

Account switch key, for use when you have access to multiple accounts and need to specify which one to use. Run Get-AccountSwitchKey to list the account switch keys available to you.

Filters the results by country, but only returns lists of states and provinces for USA and Canada.
