User password policy

Synopsis

View password policy for a user profile.

Syntax

Get-IAMUserPasswordPolicy [[-EdgeRCFile] <String>] [[-Section] <String>] [[-AccountSwitchKey] <String>]
 [-ProgressAction <ActionPreference>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Gets the password policy for the account. You should use the values from this operation to set your password policy.

If you're an admin, you should run the Get-IAMAdminPasswordPolicy operation before setting your user's password policy.

Parameters

-AccountSwitchKey

Account switch key, for use when you have access to multiple accounts and need to specify which one to use. Run Get-AccountSwitchKey to list the account switch keys available to you.
