Synopsis

Edit a role.

Syntax

Set-IAMRole [-RoleID] <String> [-Body] <Object> [[-EdgeRCFile] <String>] [[-Section] <String>]
 [[-AccountSwitchKey] <String>] [-ProgressAction <ActionPreference>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Adds or removes a role's capabilities (granted roles) along with other data, such as the name and description.

When you modify a role, those changes affect existing API clients. Review all API clients under this role before modifying.

-AccountSwitchKey

Account switch key, for use when you have access to multiple accounts and need to specify which one to use. Run Get-AccountSwitchKey to list the account switch keys available to you.
