Synopsis

View states for a user profile.

Syntax

Get-IAMUserStates [-Country] <String> [[-EdgeRCFile] <String>] [[-Section] <String>] [[-AccountSwitchKey] <String>] [-ProgressAction <ActionPreference>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Gets the supported U.S. states or Canadian provinces. You should use the values from this operation to add or update your state or province. If you're an admin, you should run the Get-IAMAdminStates operation before modifying your user's state or province.

Parameters

‑AccountSwitchKey
String Pipeline input: False

An account credential key that lets you move between accounts when using an API client enabled for multiple accounts. To find account switch keys, use Get-AccountSwitchKey.
‑Country
Required
String Accepted values: USA, Canada Pipeline input: False

Filters the results by country, but only returns lists of states and provinces for USA and Canada.
‑EdgeRCFile
String Pipeline input: False

Your EdgeGrid resource file to authenticate your command. Defaults to ~/.edgerc.
‑Section
String Pipeline input: False

The section name in your EdgeGrid resource file to retrieve authentication credentials from. Defaults to default.
