View the MFA Dashboard
The MFA Dashboard provides you with an overview of the key authentication data that lets you track authentication events across your organization and investigate access issues.
The Dashboard is the common capability to all Akamai products that are available in the Enterprise Center interface. If your contract has other Enterprise products—for example, Enterprise Threat Protector (ETP)—you can see the ETP-specific dashboard and widgets in this area.
To troubleshoot, you can either analyze the predefined dashboard that Akamai has configured for you or build and customize your own dashboards.
Widgets on the pre-defined dashboard contain a graphical presentation of the user and authentication-related data.
-
Total MFA Users. Gives you insight into the users’ population. Clicking a selected user status in the interactive chart or list leads you to the Users page where displayed user accounts are filtered by this status. For example, if you click the Unenrolled status on the dashboard, you’re redirected to the list of unenrolled users on the Users page.
See User statuses to learn more about each phase of the user life cycle. -
MFA Authentications. Shows the successful and denied authentication attempts. Clicking a selected authentication result on the graph or list leads you to the Authentication events report filtered by this result. For example, if you click Denied authentication, you’re redirected to the list of denied login attempts in the Authentication events report.
-
MFA Authentication Factors. Shows the authentication attempts aggregated by the authentication method. Clicking a selected authentication factor leads you to the Authentication events report filtered by this factor.
-
MFA Auth by Device Type. Shows the authentication attempts aggregated by the authentication device. Clicking a selected authentication device leads you to the Authentication events report filtered by this device.
-
Top MFA Denied Users and Integrations. Shows users and integrations with the highest number of blocked authentication events, allowing you to identify the most critical access issues.
-
MFA Auth by Integration. Shows the authentication attempts aggregated by the integration. Clicking a selected integration on the chart leads you to the Authentication events report filtered by this integration.
By default, the dashboard displays data for the last 24 hours. You can select a different time range by clicking the calendar icon and entering the Start date and the End date, or choosing a pre-defined time range from the following options:
- Last 24 hours
- Last 7 days
- This month
- Last 30 days
The provided dashboard menu lets you perform various actions on dashboards such as adding a new dashboard, copying the dashboard's URL, or downloading the dashboard's PDF.
