Self-enroll your phone

The ​Akamai MFA​ mobile app uses telephony APIs to call your registered phone number, including landlines, and forward you the verification code via voicemail.

When you try to open an enterprise application, you're prompted to select the secondary authentication method. Select a phone call to receiving your verification code during a call on your registered device. Next, submit the code to obtain access to the required application.

How to

1. In the authentication prompt, select the phone call as the authentication method by clicking Call me.

2. You receive a call on your registered device. During the call, an automated voice informs you about your verification code, and the call disconnects.

3. In the authentication prompt, enter the code and click Submit Code.

4. ​Akamai MFA​ displays a confirmation message and redirects you to the required enterprise app.
