Self-enroll your passkey
This authentication factor lets you set up a cloud-synced credential that you use to enroll in Akamai MFA. You can then authenticate using any of your devices that are logged in to your Cloud account. You can use any Cloud provider that supports passkeys, for example, Google Password Manager, iCloud Keychain, Windows Hello, or Samsung Pass.
Before you begin
To use Passkey with Akamai MFA, you need:
- A third-party Cloud provider account
- A supported device that's logged in to your cloud account and can be used to verify your identity

How to

When you are redirected to Akamai MFA, in the Set up Multi-factor Authentication dialog, click Enroll a Device.

In Select a device to enroll, click Passkey.

In Setup a cloud passkey, enter a name for your passkey and click Add.

Scan the QR code with your device's camera app.

On your device, enable Bluetooth and allow the device to connect.

Select the Cloud provider you'd like to use to store your passkey.

Verify your identity using your biometrics or PIN.
You can now use the passkey you created to respond to authentication challenges using any of your devices logged in to your cloud account.
