View devices

For troubleshooting purposes, you can view and filter all authentication devices enrolled by your organization in ​Akamai MFA​. To access the Devices page, in the Enterprise Center navigation menu, go to Multi-factor Authentication > Devices. The device metrics panel shows the total count of devices for each device type.

Device information

The Devices page provides the following information for each device in the list:

  • Type. Authentication device type. For example, ​Akamai MFA​ authenticator, hardware token, or phone number.
  • Name. Lets you identify the device. For example, serial number of a hardware token or email address.
  • Status. Indicates whether the device is enabled, disabled, or deleted.
  • Platform. The operating system or device platform the MFA method runs on. For example, iOS, Android, or hardware token.
  • User. ​Akamai MFA​ user that the device is assigned to. You can click the username to navigate to the user's profile page and see all devices enrolled by the user.
  • Updated. Shows the most recent time the device was modified. Hover over this field to see the exact modification date and the creation date.
  • Last authenticated. Shows the most recent time the device was last used to authenticate. Hover over this field to see the exact date.

Filter the devices list

You can filter the list of devices to show only devices of certain type or status. Your filtering criteria include the following options:

  • Type. To apply this criterion, select Type from the drop-down list and select one of the available device types:

    • ​Akamai MFA​ authenticator
    • Email address
    • Hardware token
    • Passkey
    • Phone number
    • Platform authenticator
    • Security key
    • Third party authenticator
    • WebAuthn credential
  • Status. To apply this criterion, select Status from the drop-down list and select one of the available device statuses:

    • Enabled
    • Disabled
    • Disabled unrecoverable
    • Deleted
  • Hide unassigned devices. This option lets you hide all unassigned hardware tokens.

You can click the down or up arrow to sort the data in these columns in ascending or descending order:

  • Updated
  • Last authenticated
