Verify a user

Akamai MFA lets you verify the user’s identity before performing any administrative actions requested by the user.

How to

1. In the Enterprise Center navigation menu, select Multi-factor Authentication > Identity & Users > Users.
2. On the Users page, navigate to the selected user account and click their username.
   The user profile opens.
3. In the action menu ⋮, click Verify User.
4. Click Start to confirm.
5. You are now redirected to the authentication prompt where you can send an authentication request to the user using any of the authentication factors that they have enrolled.
6. Once the authentication session completes, you can view the authentication result.
