Self-enroll your tablet or iPad
Enroll your tablet or iPad in the Akamai MFA service. With this setup, you can use your mobile device to respond to authentication challenges and obtain access to protected enterprise apps.

How to
You can also enroll your smartphone as a tablet.

When you are redirected to Akamai MFA, in the Set up Multi-factor Authentication dialog, click Enroll a Device.

In Select a device to enroll, select Tablet and click Next.

In Choose a provider, select Akamai MFA.

On your mobile device, go to App Store (for iPads) or Google Play Store (for tablets) to install the Akamai MFA mobile app.
If the Akamai MFA app download and install from Google Play Store on your mobile device is taking longer than normal, go to Settings > Apps and make sure you have no pending installations or updates. If there are any pending installations, either cancel them or wait for them to complete. This will let you proceed and complete the installation of the Akamai MFA mobile app.

Enroll your iPad or tablet with the Akamai MFA service.

If you are on your iPad or tablet, open the QR code reader in the Akamai MFA mobile app.
i. Click Enter code manually
ii. Select Akamai MFA.
iii. Enter the verification code and click Submit.

If you're displaying the Set up Multi-factor Authentication dialog on your desktop device, scan the QR code with your mobile device.
Now that you've enrolled your tablet or iPad, you can start using the Akamai MFA mobile app to respond to authentication challenges.
