Set up directories and identity connectors

As part of identity provider setup, you'll also need to set up directories and identity connectors.

• Directories. Service that your enterprise uses to manage users and user groups. To authorize user access to domains or URLs, you add directories to ​SIA​ and associate them with identity providers. For more information, see About directories and Manage a directory.
• Identity connector. Virtual appliance that you deploy behind the firewall in your data centers or hybrid cloud environments. Identity connectors allow ​SIA​ to synchronize with your organization's Active Directory (AD) or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) servers.
