Manage a certificate
Download a certificate
After you activate a certificate, you can return to the Certificates page to download the certificate again. You can download the certificate in base64 (.pem) or binary (.der) format.
You need to be an SIA administrator to perform this task.
To download a certificate:

In the Threat Protection menu of Enterprise Center, select Certificates > Proxy Certificate.

Click the download icon and in the menu, select the format that you want to download. You can download the certificate in Base64 (.pem) or Binary (.der) format.
Download a certificate signing request
After generating a certificate signing request, you can return to the Certificates tab to download the CSR. This option is available until the certificate you signed with your organization's CA is uploaded. You need to be an SIA administrator to perform this task.
To download a certificate signing request:

In the Threat Protection menu of Enterprise Center, select Certificates > Proxy Certificate.

Click the download icon and in the menu, select the format that you want to download. You can download a CSR for a certificate that is in base64 (.pem) or binary (.der) format.
Discontinue the certificate creation process
You can discontinue the certificate creation process after you select to set up an Akamai or non-Akamai certificate. This process deletes the certificate or certificate signing request that you generated. This option is available until you activate the certificate. You need to be an SIA administrator to perform this task.
To discontinue the certificate creation process:

In the Threat Protection menu of Enterprise Center, select Certificates > Proxy Certificate.

Click the trash bin icon. The Discontinue Certificate Creation Process window appears with certificate information.

Click Delete.
Delete a certificate
Complete this procedure to remove a certificate that you want to replace. You need to be an SIA administrator to perform this task.
To delete a certificate:

In the Threat Protection menu of Enterprise Center, select Certificates > Proxy Certificate.

Information about the current certificate appears. Click the trash bin icon. A confirmation message appears.

Click Delete.
View certificate information
You can view the certificate information of Akamai certificates or certificates that you signed with your CA. This includes information such as the certificate expiration date.
You need to be an SIA administrator to perform this task.
To view certificate information:

In the Threat Protection menu of Enterprise Center, select Certificates > Proxy Certificate.

View the certificate information.
Rotate certificates
Only one certificate can be active at a time. Active certificates remain valid and in use until the expiration date, revocation, or activation of a new certificate. When you rotate the certificate, you create and activate a new certificate, and you invalidate or deactivate the previous certificate.
You need to be an SIA administrator to perform this procedure.
To rotate certificates:

In the Threat Protection menu of Enterprise Center, select Certificates > Proxy Certificate.

Click Start Rotation. The Create Certificate page appears.

If you are creating an Akamai certificate, see Create an Akamai certificate.

If you are creating a certificate that is signed by your company's CA, see Create a non-Akamai certificate.
