Distribute the mobile client with Workspace ONE UEM

Before you begin

Make sure you have the entitlement code. For more information, see View entitlement code.

To add the mobile client from the Google Play Store and Apple App stores to VMware Workspace One UEM and distribute it to your devices:

1. In the Workspace ONE UEM console, add the mobile client from the Android and Apple app stores. For instructions, see Add Public Applications from an App Store in the VMware Workspace ONE UEM documentation.

2. Configure distribution settings. For instructions, see Add Assignments and Exclusions to your Applications in the VMware Workspace ONE UEM documentation. While completing this process, you need to provide the entitlement code in the Application Configuration tab. In this tab, you can enter key value pairs. Enter this information into the appropriate fields.

3. To secure the mobile client, you need to deploy and activate an MITM certificate to allow MITM TLS Inspection by ​SIA​ Proxy. For instructions, see Installing Trusted Root Certificates.
