Supported versions

Akamai often enhances and improves Security Connector with major and minor releases, as well as security patches. The version number indicates the sort of updates that are included in a release.

Security Connector versioning

Akamai uses this convention for Security Connector version numbers:

<major>.<minor>.<patch>

where:

  • <major> is the number that's associated with a major software upgrade. A release that changes this number includes new features or significant enhancements. These changes may alter Security Connector behavior or architecture.
  • <minor> is the number that's associated with a minor software release. A release that changes this number usually consists of minor features or enhancements.
  • <patch> is the number that's associated with a software patch. A patch release usually addresses a major security vulnerability or resolves issues in Security Connector.

Supported versions

Akamai supports:

  • The latest major and minor versions of Security Connector.
  • All versions of Security Connector (major and minor versions, as well as security patches) are supported for a maximum of 15 months.

🚧
