Filter data based on date and time

You can filter data in a report or in a dashboard. You can show events or activity from this month or from the last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. You can also show events or activity that occurred at a specific time of day by entering start and end times in a 24-hour clock format.

To filter data based on date and time:

  1. To filter events in a report, from the Threat Protection menu of Enterprise Center, select Reports > Threat Events or Reports > Access Control.

  2. To filter activity, from the Threat Protection menu of Enterprise Center, select Reports. Select the activity report.

  3. To filter data in a dashboard, complete the step that applies to the dashboard you want to view:

    • To filter data in the Security Summary dashboard, from the navigation menu, select Dashboard > Security Summary.
    • To filter data in the Threat Overview, Security, Operations, or in a custom dashboard, from the navigation menu, select Dashboard > Dashboard.
  4. Click the calendar icon or the presented date range at the top of the page.

  5. To filter events or activity that occurred in the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or this month, select one of these options:

    • Last 24 hours
    • Last 7 days
    • This Month
    • Last 30 days
  6. To filter by a specific date and time range:

    1. In the calendar, select the first date and then select the last date of your range.

    2. To specify a specific time, enter the start and end time in a 24-hour clock format.

    3. To specify a time zone, in the provided menu, select a time zone.

    4. Click Apply. The events, activity, or data that applies for that time period appears.
