Outdated versions
While all older versions of our Terraform provider still work, their feature sets are, on the whole, cheerlessly behind our newer versions. It's also getting crowded in here and we need some space to grow.
We hope you'll upgrade, but we get the if-it-works approach, too. We also know until you do upgrade, you'll still need a hand. To support you and make room for additions and improvements, we've moved the doc for these older versions to PDF.
What to expect
You can expect doc support for all active provider versions, including deprecated ones, until they hit end-of-life and clear communication about our provider as it moves along its lifecycle.
- There have been breaking changes as we've versioned up. Some of the subproviders in our provider have deprecated items or removed functionality. We adjusted the main landing page of each version to let you know what those changes were, and we will continue to.
- Currently, none of our provider versions, major or point, are deprecated. But, deprecation will eventually happen. When it does, we'll update a version's main landing page to let you know.
- Deprecation notices will have a clear end-of-life, and we'll add migration information to help you get to a supported version before we turn one off.
Archived content
Each PDF is a complete copy of the documentation for a major version at its latest point version. For changes across point versions, see our provider's CHANGELOG.
