Free trial guide

Use this guide to get up and running with your free trial of Image & Video Manager.

Configure Ion for image or video delivery

The first step in preparing for your free trial is configuration of the Akamai delivery product, Ion. Ion pairs with Image & Video Manager to deliver your images and videos quickly. Ion also allows you to control multiple advanced settings, including caching. Ion is provided free to you as part of the Image & Video Manager trial.

To complete these steps, you will need the free trial credentials that were emailed to you.

  1. Follow the link in the free trial registration email and sign in using the credentials provided.

  2. Review the terms and conditions for use of Ion. If you agree, select the “I accept the Terms and Conditions” checkbox.

  3. Complete the step-by-step setup of Ion via the Onboard and Configuration Assistant. For detailed instructions, see Set up Adaptive Acceleration.
