Create a Cloudlet policy version

Like your regular Akamai properties, you may want different Cloudlet policy versions to meet your different business needs.

From the Control Center menu, click Content delivery > Edge applications > Cloudlets.
On the Cloudlet Policies screen, click the name of the policy you want to add a version to.
Click Create New Version on the Policy Details screen.
On the Create Version screen, complete these fields:

Field	Entry
Based on version	Required. Select either the Version # of the existing version that has the rules you want to include in the new version, or a New, empty version to create a blank version.
Version Notes	Enter a meaningful description for this policy version.

Click Create Version.

The new policy version displays on the Policy Details screen.

High version count may affect activation times
If the number of versions within a single policy exceeds 10,000, activation times may increase significantly. To maintain optimal performance, consider cloning your policy rather than adding additional versions to it.
