Variable versions

When you activate an environment version with variables in its rule configuration, Delivery Manager creates a snapshot of variables used at that time, essentially making a variable set version. Since variables exist at the workspace level, you can keep adding variables after activation.

To use variables added after activation, create a new draft environment version. When you switch to an older environment version, the Variables tab shows only the variables used in that version’s rule configuration.
