Move service hostnames between sets
Overview
Service hostnames can only belong to one set at a time, but you can move them between sets, or remove them from sets entirely. When reorganizing your service hostnames, keep in mind:
- If a service hostname set is active when you make a change, like adding or removing a service hostname, a new draft version of the set is automatically created. The set stays in a draft state until you activate it.
- Individual service hostnames can’t be routed or activated unless they’re part of a set.
How to
To move a service hostname between sets:
- Go to the Service hostnames tab and select a service hostname set with hostnames you want to move.
- Select checkboxes for one or multiple service hostnames that you want to move. This reveals a shared actions panel.
- In the Move to dropdown, select the target set you want to move the service hostnames to.
- Click Apply.
- Your service hostnames are now moved to their new sets. In order for your changes to apply to your routed environments, you need to activate the affected service hostname sets.
- Once you're ready with all updates, click the global Save at the top of the page.
