Activate from an environment
During initial activation, you can activate an environment with or without a routed service hostname set. Keep in mind that an environment won’t serve traffic until you route a service hostname set to it and activate that set to the same network.
- Check your environment’s configuration, and make sure all service hostnames in any routed service hostname sets have been verified.
- On the environment page, click Activate.
- Select either the staging or production network.
- Select any service hostname sets you want to include in your initial activation. They will be activated to the same network as your environment.
- Click Run checks.
- Review your activation summary and notifications, and click Activate.
A successful activation message displays once activation is complete. - Click OK to navigate back to your environment page.
Your version number, v1, should now display an Active status next to both your environment and service hostname set names.
