Edit a variable

Variables are managed at the workspace level. Editing a variable updates its value wherever it’s used, except where it has been overridden.

To edit a variable across the workspace:

1. In your workspace, go to the Variables tab.
2. Select the options ellipses for the variable you want to edit and click Edit.
3. Update the variable’s name, type, binding time, value, description, or security setting.
4. Once you're ready with all updates, click the global Save at the top of the page.
