Override workspace variables
You set variables at the workspace level, but you can override their values at the environment level for more granular control. Overridden values are indicated with an orange override arrow.
Example
If you’re using a variable, CACHE_TTL, at the workspace level with a value of 3600, you can override it within an environment to have a value of 4800.
How to
To override a variable value in an environment:
- Navigate to the environment’s Variables tab.
- Locate the variable and click the pencil icon in the Value column.
- Enter the new value in the Environment override field.
- Click Save changes.
The overridden value is reflected in the list of variables for your environment.
