Sets
Overview
A service hostname set is a collection of one or more service hostnames. With service hostname sets, you can manage shared settings like certificates, edge hostnames, and supported HTTPS protocols while always having the option to override individual service hostname settings.
Service hostname sets live at the workspace level and are used to route groups of service hostnames to one or more environments. For example, you can assign a service hostname set to both production and development environments, enabling a safe feature development workflow while using the same hostnames for live traffic. When you activate changes to the set, those updates apply to all routed environments.
Since service hostname sets and environments are independent components, they can be activated separately or in tandem to the same network, giving you granular control over what parts of your configuration gets updated. See Activation workflows for more information.
