Set up Dynatrace Metrics

Set up a specific metric in Dynatrace where mPulse retrieves data. Disable all filters on the Dynatrace dashboard so mPulse can query any time range.

Before you begin

Currently, this integration is only for cloud based or publicly accessible Dynatrace instances that are not behind the firewall.

How to

1. Log in to your Dynatrace instance.

2. Set up the metrics in Dynatrace where mPulse retrieves data.

3. Disable all filters on the Dynatrace dashboard so mPulse can query any time range.

4. Disable any Dynatrace filter enabled on the Dynatrace dashboard.

5. Create the external data source in mPulse for Dynatrace.
