Delete an upload directory
You can delete NetStorage upload directories if they meet these criteria:
- Storage groups must have at least one upload directory. You can't delete the last upload directory in a storage group.
- Non-empty upload directories: Deleting non-empty upload directories requires a two-step process to prevent accidental deletion of data.
- Empty upload directories: You can delete empty upload directories directly.
You can’t add an upload directory to a storage group after deleting one
If you delete an upload directory from a storage group you can no longer create new upload directories in that storage group. You can, however, create a new storage group and add the upload directory to it.
Delete upload directories with caution
Deletion of an upload directory requires propagation and can result in the inability to add new upload directories until the propagation process is complete.
