Go Live in AMD with MSL5 origin
Associate the MSL5 origin hostname with an Adaptive Media Delivery (AMD) property configuration to facilitate content delivery.
Follow these steps to set up a new AMD property for your MSL5 configuration.

Go to ☰ > CDN > Properties, and then click New Property.

Use the top-right menu in the header to select the appropriate Control Center account (one with access to the applicable product).

In the Property Name field, enter a desired name for the AMD property. This serves two purposes:
- The filename for the property.
- How the property appears in the Property Manager UIs within Control Center.

Set the Origin Server behavior options:
Origin Type Select “Your Origin” from the drop-down menu. Origin Server Hostname Enter the “Primary origin hostname” of the MSL5 Origin to which the CDN connects. Forward Host Header Select "Origin Hostname" from the drop-down menu. -
Set the Segmented Media Delivery Mode behavior options:
Mode Select “Live” from the drop-down menu. Enable ULL Streaming If selecting the “Live” mode, you can enable low-latency streaming for both DASH and HLS streams. The configuration steps vary for each live stream format:
DASH: Configure low latency for DASH streams delivered via AMD to reduce latency and transfer times.
HLS: Configure low latency for HLS streams using the Enable Low Latency (LL-HLS) setting.Show Advanced Options Keep this slider toggled “Off” by default. -
In the Origin Characteristics behavior, configure G2O Authentication in Akamai AMD, if applicable.

Specify the desired match criteria and parameters for the Cache Key Query Parameters behavior.

Save the property.
