View event and traffic analytics

Complete these steps to view event data and analyze traffic trends in the Prolexic dashboard.

To view event and traffic analytics:

1. From the Control Center menu, click Security > Security analytics > Infrastructure Security Analytics. The dashboard for Infrastructure Security Analytics appears.
2. Click the Prolexic tab. The Prolexic dashboard appears.
3. If an attack was mitigated by Prolexic in the last 30 days, a banner appears with data about this attack and its mitigation. Review this data, and then click View more details. You are directed to the Routed Events page in Security Center where you can filter events by date and time.
4. Review traffic analytics:
   1. In the Prolexic dashboard, go to the Traffic analytics section.
   2. Take note of the most attacked IP address, total attack time, and the most events triggered in a day.
   3. Take note of the scrubbing centers that are cleaning the largest volume of traffic.
   4. Click Routed Events to go to the Routed Events page in Security Center where you can view events based on severity level.
   5. In Security Center, click the drop-down menu at the top of the page to filter data based on date and time.
   6. View events based on severity. Click an event to expand it and view more information.
5. Review events data:
   1. In the Prolexic dashboard, go to the Events information section.
   2. Review the Events by severity graph to see the total number of events detected in the past 30 days. Hover over a line representing a severity level to view the total number of events detected for a specific date.
