Architecture for load testing an application
Load testing an application
CloudTest is an ideal tool to perform load testing of cloud native applications. It can provide a load and can simulate the exact user journey including logging in and purchasing items. There are some best practices that could be taken care of when doing load testing for an application. This document explains several best practices that should be followed when performing load testing of an application.
Platform components of CloudTest
CloudTest has a control interface that can spin up various load testing servers that simulate virtual users in various cloud providers. Load generators can be spun up in grids in cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure, as well as a private cloud. The load generators simulate virtual API calls for the registration and login APIs.
