Introduction

This section describes procedures for testing the delivery of your content or application by the edge network before directing your live end users' traffic to the edge network.

For OTA Updates Edge IP Binding (EIB) configurations, you can test all EIB-unrelated features without affecting live and end users by using the edge hostname of your test hostname. You only can verify proper functioning of the EIB functionality in the production environment after routing your traffic to the EIB edge hostname of your production hostname.

For OTA Updates non-EIB configurations, you can complete all testing without affecting live end users by using the edge hostname of your production hostname.
