Optional behaviors

Apart from mandatory and recommended behaviors, you can add optional behaviors to your OTA Updates configuration.

Optional behaviors available in the Property Manager catalog vary, based on the following conditions:

  • What is included in the Internet of Things (IoT) product, and any additional options you may have purchased.

  • Whether you are using NetStorage or your origin.

Some of the behaviors are not available if you are using NetStorage as your origin server. When a behavior is not available for configurations using NetStorage, it is noted in its description.

It is outside the scope of this document to describe all of the additional optional behaviors. You can find detailed information about each behavior via the Property Manager Online Help under question-mark-icon help links.
