Alerts settings are only applied when Alertmanager is active.

Alerts

The alerts settings section offers configuration options for alert manager and deployment feedback.

  • Repeat interval: Define the waiting time before the platform sends notifications for the same alert. This is usually set to 3 hours (3h) or more.
  • Group interval: Define the waiting time before sending notifications for new alerts when an initial notification for the group has already been sent. This is usually set to 5 minutes (5m) or longer.

Notification receivers

Select and configure the default notification channel(s) that will receive alerts. Teams can also configure a receiver for alerts within their own team namespace. Notification receivers include Slack and Microsoft Teams (listed as Msteams). If you prefer not to configure any receivers, select none.

Configure Slack

  • Non-ciritical: Enter the Slack channel to use for non-critical alerts.
  • Critical: Enter the Slack channel to use for critical alerts.
  • Webhook URL: Enter the webhook URL for your Slack workspace.

Configure Microsoft Teams

  • High priority webhook URL: Enter the Microsoft Team's webhook URL to use for critical alerts.
  • Low priority webhook URL: Enter the Microsoft Team's webhook URL to use for non-critical alerts.
