Respond to PII in unregistered APIs
The network looks for PII in all of your APIs for which it serves traffic, not just registered APIs. When the network finds a parameter value that looks like personally identifiable information (PII) in an unregistered API, it flags and recommends you review the value in the parameter. However, because you haven't registered the API yet, you'll only be able to see the parameter and value. To respond to the network's PII recommendation, you'll need to first register the API.
-
Go to API PII security settings > API parameters with PII.
-
Expand a parameter with a Recommendation status of Discovered and select a new status.
Your selection saves automatically and deploys to the network the next time you activate your version.
