Report an API as misidentified

When you decide that an entry shouldn’t be on the detected API list (for example, it’s a website, not an API), you may report it as misidentified. This action has a twofold benefit: it gives you a clearer view of APIs that require registration, and sends valuable feedback to Akamai that may help improve the detection mechanism. You can reverse this action in the future, but until you do so, the entry will not appear on the detected API list.

1. In API Discovery, open the more options menu next to the entry you want to report as misidentified.
2. From the menu, select Report as misidentified.
3. In the Report as misidentified window, click Report to confirm.

The API entry will no longer appear in the detected API list.
