Read the definitions of the current zone activation status (activationState). They may have the following values:
NEW: Primary zone created but has no resource records yet. Nothing happens until resource records are added.
PENDING: Zone has been modified and is being propagated to the backend network.
PENDING_APPROVAL: This has to do with the soon-to-be-deprecated subzone grant feature.
ACTIVE: Most recent change has been propagated to the backend network and is live.
ERROR: Something is wrong with the zone configuration, preventing propagation, and must be fixed.
LOCKED: Zone has been locked.
OBSOLETE: Zone has been obsolete.
DELETED: Zone has been deleted. Once the deletion has propagated, the zone will disappear from the database.
