Agent statuses and notifications
Guardicore Platform Agent uses a notification system to keep you informed about important agent events. These notifications cover a range of actions related to Access, Threat Protection, Segmentation, and shared activities. They provide valuable insights into the agent's status, potential issues, and required responses. This section details the types of notifications you may receive, their significance, and how to manage them effectively.
Check agent statuses
The Status pane provides visibility into the current posture of your device. Tray bar and menu bar status icons
Similarly, the Guardicore Platform Agent tray bar or menu bar icon changes to reflect the current status. This visual indicator helps you quickly understand if you are securely connected and protected.
Here's a breakdown of the status icons and their meanings:
Client Icon | Client Status |

If more than one service is configured in the agent, the component with a higher priority status determines the displayed icon. For example, if Access is authenticated but Threat Protection is in the Not Protected state, the agent displays a warning icon.
Depending on your operating system's color theme, tray bar or menu bar icons may slightly differ from the ones shown here.
